Moldovan Church and Dinner!

Sunday was our first full day in Moldova.  So we had the opportunity to experience a Christian Moldovan church.  The men sit on the left side and the women sit on the right side.

In the front the pastor sat with Igor and Tommy and Brandon. Tommy and Brandon are two of the BFA leaders.

Tommy delivered the Sunday morning message with Igor translating into Romanian.

All of our lunch and supper meals were served to us in the basement of the church.  They set up a long table with benches for us.

The local Moldovan women prepared our meals.  Every meal had a lot of bread.  For lunch we were always served a soup and a salad.  For dinner we had a main course with meat.

For our first meal we had meat wrapped up in two different kinds of leaves.  It was very good.

Our rowdy crew enjoys their meals.  We had a great time of fellowship with each other.

Then we had the Sunday night service.  The Moldovan youth sang a couple of songs for the congregation.

For the evening service, Brandon delivered a short message and therefore he got to sit up front again.  Then there was some special music by people in the church.  It was very cool to hear traditional Moldovan music.
