Appelblick for Personal Development Day

 All of the ResLife staff gathers together once a semester for a personal development day.  We usually meet at a restaurant, and we did again this semester at Appelblick.  It is a truly German restaurant that is in the foothills of the Alps...just a few miles from Kandern.  The scenic views are breathtaking.

 Notice the tiny little church in the gate. 

I love the fog rolling in over the blue mountains.

And all traditional German gardens are decorated with gnomes.  As my friends and I were snapping scenic pictures, we even found a gnome hiding behind some bushes.  It is a very interesting part of German culture.
