Two of the BFA female RAs are getting married this summer. One of them happens to be Lizzy, my fellow Palm RA. The other one is SoYoung who is an RA in Blauen. So we threw them a shower of cards & money since they will be traveling to either the States or Korea for their weddings.
All good showers have a good spread of food. Catherine and Julie enjoy the food and some good conversation.
SoYoung and Candy are excited for the event. SoYoung is a Koren who met Thomas, her German finance, in South Africa on a missions trip. After knowing each other for 5 years, they have decided to get married. SoYoung has a lot of wedding planning to do. She is planning a Korean wedding in July and then they will travel back to Germany where she will have a German wedding. The couple then plans to move back to Korea, at least for the first few years.
This is Lizzy with Sue. Lizzy is getting married to Brandon. They are both RAs and Moody Grads. However, when they were in college they knew each other, but were not friends. It took them coming to BFA to fall in love. The will get married in Georgia in July and then come back to BFA as a married couple. Brandon will be the interim middle school chaplain and Lizzy will work with student council.
